Junior Minister Dara Murphy: Not just politically stupid

In a previous article I described Junior Minister Dara Murphy’s decision to engage in political prostitution as stupid because it will obviously do a great deal more damage to his election prospects than any benefit.

But after doing some research on the man I find that he really is stupid, it’s not just political stupidity.

Here’s a video of the gombeen being justifiably torn to shreds by Vincent Browne.

He made the fatal mistake of sneeringly asking Browne whether he knew the difference between GNP and GDP.

Keep in mind that this idiot is the Minister for European Affairs and Data Protection at the Department of Taoiseach and Foreign Affairs and Trade.

He’s the man who negotiates Ireland’s business interests with our European partners, no wonder we’re broke.

Also note how he slyly tries to get off the (Vincent Browne) hook by dragging another panel member into the row.

Leo the liar

3 Nov 2013: (Leo Varadkar: Marian Finucane Show).

The property tax collected for 2013 went to central funds but the 2014 tax will go to local authorities to fund local roads, community centres, libraries, public parks and to a certain extent social housing.

5 February 2015: (RTE).

Irish Water received €439 from the Local Government Fund made up of motor tax and local property tax receipts for 2014.

Justice Minister Frances Fitzgerald is a political prostitute

When I read this article I genuinely thought it was a joke.

Junior minister Dara Murphy is charging supporters €85 to have breakfast with Justice Minister Frances Fitzgerald to raise funds for his general election campaign.

I’m not going to mince my words here.

Justice Minister Frances Fitzgerald is a political prostitute. Junior Minister Dara Murphy is also a political prostitute. The man who organised the event, Fine Gael trustee Jerry Carey, is a political pimp.

The Minister’s office does not belong to her to abuse as she wishes, it belongs to the people of Ireland. The power and prestige of her ministerial position was not bestowed upon her so that she could abuse that power by engaging in sleazy election campaigns.

Her actions are disgusting and immoral particularly in light of what has happened to the people of Ireland since 2008.

I spoke about this yesterday on 96 FM where the presenter described my comments as ‘strong language.

He’s right, it is strong language but it’s well past time that Irish citizens spoke out against this abuse of democracy; it’s well past time we called a spade a spade.

Some might say I’m too harsh in my comments. Here’s why I’m angry.

Hundreds of thousands forced to leave their country because of political corruption.

Hundreds of thousands out of work because of political corruption.

Over a hundred thousand struggling in desperation to pay their mortgages because of political corruption.

Over a hundred thousand children living in poverty because of political corruption.

The suicide of thousands of citizens as a result of the stress caused by political corruption.

Millions who have lost hope in their own and in their children’s future because of political corruption.

Not only is this political prostitution disgusting, it’s also extremely stupid.

The number of people attending this scam will be tiny; they will almost certainly be people who are conservative and loyal members of the establishment. The scam will raise a couple of thousand and perhaps the promise of a few votes.

Meanwhile, judging from the reaction on the radio, thousands of Cork voters will rightly reject those who stupidly and arrogantly persist in abusing democracy.

Minister Murphy has warned (threatened?) that if Fine Gael is not leading the next government the economy will be severely damaged.

I have some news for this political prostitute and his fellow Fine Gael cronies.

Fine Gael will not be part of the next government; the party will be lucky if it still exists after the next election.

Fine Gael Cllr. Kate O'Connell: Just another gombeen politician

Fine Gael Councillor Kate O’Connell is either a complete moron with very little intelligence or she thinks that the people of Ireland are complete morons with very little intelligence.

I strongly suspect it’s the former.

Defending her party’s complete failure to reform the (corrupt) political system (RTE) she said:

Fine Gael promised a democratic revolution but I imagine when they got elected…in the dying days of the Greens and Fianna Fail government…they literally inherited an unholy mess.

They went in, I believe, with the best of intentions to reform the system. But when they went into Government Buildings the place was falling down around them.

So this gombeen is asking us to believe that when the current government came to power they were completely unaware of the major catastrophe that had just been visited upon the Irish people.

She’s asking us to believe that Fine Gael and Labour had no idea that major political reform was urgently required to bring even a tiny semblance of democracy to our country.

O’Connell is a young politician who, we are constantly told, will usher in a new form of honest and open politics to serve the people of Ireland.

Sadly, like all her colleagues, she’s nothing more than a pathetic clone of the traitors who destroyed our country.

Fine Gael TD Eoghan Murphy is a political coward

Do you rate Enda Kenny?

Yes, I think he’s done an excellent job for the country.

With this short sentence Fine Gael TD Eoghan Murphy totally destroyed his credibility.

Murphy was all over the media today telling us how important it was to reform the political system to protect the nation from the terrible prospect of Sinn Fein getting into power.

Before exposing the rank hypocrisy of this politician let’s outline some background to the political system he suddenly sees as needing reform.

The political/administrative system that Murphy supports is 100% responsible for the destruction of our country.

It was this corrupt political/administrative system that drove the country and with it the wealth, dreams and futures of a large percentage of the population over the cliff of despair.

Sinn Fein had absolutely nothing to do with the betrayal of our country; Fine Gael, Fianna Fail and Labour were the chief architects of the catastrophe.

Enda Kenny is the Taoiseach. He announced to the nation that a democratic revolution was in process after the last election, he promised to make the government accountable – He lied.

Deputy Murphy is a political coward because he’s afraid to utter this obvious truth.

Instead, like all of his fellow cowardly colleagues, he makes the arrogant assumption that the people will believe anything and so he tells us that Kenny is too busy to engage in political reform.

Or, to make an analogy – the captain of Titanic is too busy checking accounts to bother about the sinking ship.

On Newstalk (6 min) Murphy told us that this generation of new politicians had a responsibility to reform how politics was done.

He cited the ramming through of legislation establishing Irish Water in just three hours as an example of how undemocratic politics has become.

We should have had the courage of our convictions, to stand up and say, we’re not going to be abused this way.

The problem is that Murphy and his fellow cowards didn’t stand up, they did allow themselves and democracy and the Irish people to be abused by our corrupt political/administrative system just as generations of politicians have done over the decades.

Neither did the coward stand up when the ‘busy’ Taoiseach’ abused democracy with his interference in the bank inquiry.

The coward again failed to stand up for his convictions when the ‘busy’ Taoiseach was abusing democracy over the McNulty scandal.

Now, suddenly, with Sinn Fein becoming ever more powerful the coward has begun to grow a pair of balls or, more accurately, a pair of self-protection balls.

I trust Enda Kenny, I trust Joan Burton, I trust all (the current politicians who are in power) but if a new government came in (Sinn Fein) and the Dail could not keep that new government to account I think that would be very worrying.

We have to think about putting protections into our political system for the future.

Murphy’s mindset tells us how warped political thinking has become in our blighted country.

He fully supports Taoiseach Enda Kenny, the current leader of our corrupt political/administrative system, the system that destroyed the country and continues to abuse both democracy and the people.

He agrees that political reform is needed but not for the good of the people, the country or democracy.

No, he wants reform because the corrupt system he supports is in danger of being wiped out by a new political force that may actually tell the truth, may actually work for the good of the country and its people instead of betraying every democratic principle in existence.

Labour Senator Aideen Hayden is a traitor

Labour Senator Aideen Hayden is a traitor to Ireland and its people.

Hayden is a traitor because her loyalty is, first and foremost, to herself, to her party and to her government.

By definition, any politician who supports the type of stroke politics surrounding the McNulty scandal is acting against the interests of Ireland and its people.

Three times Hayden was asked to demonstrate her loyalty to her country and three times she chose to give her loyalty to the diseased political system that has brought catastrophe on the Irish people.

Do you think it was a stroke?

Hayden: I’m not in a position to say it was a stroke.

Was she incorrect in appointing him?

Hayden: I’m not going to say whether she was correct or incorrect.

Do we have openness and transparency here?

Hayden: Labour Party ministers when they are appointing members to state boards use the public recruitment process. I would suggest that Fine Gael does the same.

It could be argued that Heyden is not a conscious traitor in the traditional sense but that point is not relevant in Ireland any more.

Catastrophe was visited upon the Irish people in 2008 resulting in massive pain and damage to countless citizens.

Every political party has accepted that the political system played a major role in the disaster, it has been accepted that the system is not fit for purpose, that radical and immediate reform is urgently required.

This government, under the banner of a so-called democratic revolution, promised to implement such reform, to rid the country of stroke politics, once and for all.

This latest scandal give the lie to that promise. Hayden’s support of the lie places her in the camp of the traitors who have betrayed the country once again.

Hayden is not, of course, the only traitor. Taoiseach Enda Kenny is also a traitor and a liar, he lied when he said he would rid the country of gombeen politics.

Every politician who supports or defends this latest political stroke is a traitor. Every politician who fails to challenge this latest attack on democracy place themselves in the traitor’s camp.

The time for political reform in Ireland passed many years ago. The diseased system, peopled by gombeens, cowards and self-serving traitors, is irretrievably corrupt.

No reform will happen, no justice will be forthcoming, no democracy will operate until the rotten system is completely eradicated from our culture and replaced with a functional democratic system peopled by citizens who understand what it means to loyally serve their country.

Phil Hogan is a liar

Former Environment minister Phil Hogan is a liar. We know this by simply looking at the facts surrounding the establishment of Irish Water.

When the €50 million consultancy fees scandal broke Hogan effectively denied he knew anything about the details.

He claimed he was merely aware of the overall cost.

It’s not my job, (it actually was his job) it’s a matter for Irish Water, I allow the professionals to get on with their job.

Junior Minister Fergus O’Dowd supported the Minister saying that neither he nor the minister were sent the information regarding the €50 million.

We now know that Hogan signed off on a document which outlined in great detail the costs involved in setting up Irish Water.

The document in question was signed by Hogan and bore the stamp – Seen and approved by the Minister.

Now this stamp/signature is very important. It exists to protect civil servants from being blamed for making decision without authority. It exists to prove that a Minister has read and is fully aware of very important details on any particular matter.

Some journalists have suggested that perhaps the Minister signed the document but didn’t actually read the details. This doesn’t wash.

Seen and approved by the Minister means he has read and approved the entire document.

He did therefore, by his own admission (his signature) read and approve the documents and was, by extension, fully aware of all its details.

In other words, Hogan micromanaged this issue right down to his signature.

His denial of this fact makes him a liar.

But in common with most politicians Hogan is not worried about any possible consequences. His arrogance overrides any such concerns and his arrogance is justified – there won’t be any consequences.

Neither is he alone in his lying. Lying is an ingrained part of Irish political culture. Lying during elections, lying to constituents about favours, lying under oath – all part of the gombeen culture that destroyed our country.

Alan Shatter: A pompous, self-regarding, egotistic arsehole

I felt physically sick as I listened and watched that little prick Alan Shatter preen himself in front of my parliament and announce ‘his decisions’, on how he was going to disperse my money.

The €70,000 so called disappointment money for ministers who retire or, like Shatter, find themselves forced out of office for incompetence or worse, is nothing short of shame money granted to the incompetents by a corrupt body politic.

Any human with even a smidgen of decency, with even a hint of morality would make a discreet phone call to quickly disassociate themselves from the taint of such a disgusting payment.

But Shatter is not a decent human by any measure. He’s nothing but a pompous, self-regarding egotistic arsehole.

Like many, I thought the prick was going to make a significant announcement in front of Leinster House, that perhaps he was going to help clean up Irish politics by resigning.

But no, this excuse for a public representative cynically stretched out his ego circus for two days before telling the nation of his ‘decision’.

Have a look at the prick’s face as he informed the nation that he had decided to keep the severance payment before announcing that he was going to donate our money to his favourite charity.

This was supposed to be his big dramatic moment, when the media and nation would gasp in shock at his decision to keep the money quickly followed by deep gratitude and admiration for his unstinting generosity.

It seems, however, that his tiny, principles free brain wasn’t given a copy of the script and so, instead of looking like a great national hero, we witnessed a moronic sneer spread across the prick’s face.

All hail the generous idiot

Enda Kenny: Uno duce; una voce

Enda Kenny’s adoption of the criminal Haughey’s dictum Uno duce, una voce puts the final nail in the coffin of his so-called democratic revolution.

Expressing an opinion in public is now, apparently, forbidden by ‘the great leader’.

His assertion that the Garda Commissioner Martin Callinan deserved absolute respect is laughable. In a functional democracy Callinan would have been sacked long ago.

So not only is the so-called democratic revolution over, but Fine Gael are fast morphing into a clone of Fianna Fail, the most corrupt political party in the country.

Regina Doherty: Just another cowardly, self-serving, gombeen politician?

Fine Gael TD Regina Doherty represents all that is depressing about Irish politics.

Here’s some things she had to say during a recent radio discussion (Newstalk, Sunday 23 Feb).

On Michael Noonan’s disgraceful and dishonest attempt to blame Fianna Fail for the current Garda scandal.

I’m certainly not going to criticise Michael Noonan for his opinions. He’s a very long standing politician and as you well know I’m not.

Two things here:

Firstly, Doherty is the kind of politician who lacks the courage to question members of her own party. Such cowardice, while beneficial to her and her party’s interests, is extremely damaging to Ireland and its people.

Secondly, she sees age and experience as the defining factor in how a fellow politician should be treated. We can assume, therefore, that she strongly disapproves of Barack Obama, who assumed power at 47.

We can also assume that Ms. Doherty is prepared to allow ‘senior’ and more ‘experienced’ politicians to act in a ruthless and callous manner simply because they are senior.

When politicians like Doherty lack confidence in their own political principles they invariably seek political security within the embrace of a stronger politician, no matter how ruthless or unprincipled that politician is.

This abdication of a principled stance inevitably results in the increased empowerment of the ‘senior’ politician with disastrous consequences for ordinary citizens.

Indeed, we can see this attitude at work today as Fine Gael TDs, including Ms. Doherty, coldly stand by as Mr. Noonan exposes thousands of citizens to ruthless vulture capitalists.

Fianna Fail and the media seem to think they have a political witch hunt going on here on Alan Shatter and it’s not on. To call for his resignation is absolutely a witch hunt.

If Doherty really believes this then she is nothing but a political moron, someone who has no inkling whatsoever of what’s actually happening around her. Someone who exists in just one reality – support the party at all costs no matter how damaging to Ireland and its people.

If she doesn’t believe her own words, if she’s just saying them to avoid having to admit the truth then she’s just one more gombeen politician in a long line of gombeen politicians going back many decades who have sucked the blood out of Irish democracy and destroyed the future prospects of millions of Irish citizens.

I strongly suspect that Ms. Doherty is just another cowardly, self-serving, gombeen politician.

And in truth, the Irish people have had enough of such inferior representatives.
