Corcoran's twisted logic

According to Bertie Ahern’s greatest fan, Jody Corcoran, the former Taoiseach was not guilty of being untruthful but merely of telling half-truths.

And, apparently, those half-truths were told because Ahern was suffering the trauma of a marriage break down.

If you have absolutely nothing better to do I would recommend reading Corcoran’s rubbish as an example of how reality can be twisted out of all recognition by those who support scumbags like Ahern.

  1. The comments to the article say it all – pure drivel!

BTW a profound question has entered my head – is a half truth the same as a half lie?

  2. One aspect of Bertie’s financial shenanigans that nobody seems to have raised: He said that he didn’t put his money into banks after his marriage breakdown. This could only have been because he was trying to ensure that, if Maureen asked for maintenance, he wouldn’t have bank statements to produce in court. Therefore he could claim that he couldn’t afford to pay or increase maintenance payments. For his own children.

A shyster which ever way tou look at him.

  3. I AGREE WITH BOTH COMMENTS.THEY ARE ALL TRYING TO PLAY THE PART OF HEROD [WHAT IS TRUTH,ETC,ETC.].AND THAT APPLIES TO ALL CORRUPT PARTIES IN THE DAIL,THE WHOLE SHAGGING LOT OF THEM. ROLL ON THE REVOLUTION!

  4. The trouble with Irish politics is, that you just can’t trust any of the political parties, or members thereof.

They truly are all the same – but with a few exceptions – the number of which you could count on one hand.
